Bracketing Party

The Bracketing Party for the Snowball Softball Tournament will be held on: Thursday February 18th, 2010
from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at:

Join Steve Animal and fellow captains and players for great food & drink specials, finger foods, prize drawings and more while bracketing is done for the tournament.  Door prizes will be given, courtesy of our sponsors Bud Light and our Radio Station sponsor ROCK 105.   Your entry form and registration fee must be turned in by 7:30 p.m. to be eligible for the bracketing.   Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than February 16, 2010.  No exceptions will be made.
 

                         Great Prizes
   In addition to a championship trophy to the top Men’s and Co-ed Division Teams, both champion teams will receive 2010 Snowball Softball long sleeve t-shirts.   In addition, all players participating in the tournament receive a tournament gift.   T-shirts may be purchased at the Bracketing Party or at the Tournament site.
What is Snowball Softball?
   The Bud Light Snowball Softball Tournament is held each year in Charleston, West Virginia and attracts teams from all over the State of West Virginia, as well as Kentucky and Ohio for a weekend of fun for a great cause. It is played the same as any other slow-pitch tournament -- with one exception -- ideally, the ground is covered in a layer of snow!
   This event is for the hard-core athlete as well as corporate teams, or just groups of friends looking for a fun event to do together.  Snowball Softball brings out the best in both men and women players.
   Get your group together today and join in the fun as Snowball Softball helps to raise important funds to help the Barbara E. Vineyard Foundation continue senior citizen services and support for our area.

   You may also bring your entry form and fee to the Bracketing Party on February 18, 2010 (no later than 7:30 pm) at Quaker Steak & Lube.  All mailed entries must be postmarked by February 16, 2009.  There will be no exceptions.
 

THE BARBARA E. VINEYARD FOUNDATION

   The Barbara E. Vineyard Foundation was founded in the year 2000 in memory of St. Albans native and senior advocate Barbara Vineyard. Barbara spent a great deal of her life caring for seniors, from caring for her own family to serving as Senior Services Coordinator for Hansford Senior Center in St. Albans to establishing her own successful Care Home network. The volunteers who founded this organization are dedicated to fund-raising and outreach efforts that will benefit area seniors.
